What is Counselling?

Counselling is a talking therapy which is confidential, non-judgemental, and a safe space where you can be yourself.

This always takes place within a trusted relationship within agreed relational boundaries, carried out by a qualified counsellor.

Counsellors are not there to tell you what to do, but to encourage you to explore the thoughts and feelings you are experiencing, moving towards change and growth in any or every aspect of your life.

Each of you are unique in your perceptions and outlooks, processing and coping abilities. 

So the counselling style and each session will be tailored to you individually. 


Holistic Counselling looks at the four aspects which make up the whole person:

  • Physical Health

  • Emotional Health

  • Mental Health

  • Spiritual Health
