My name is Sophie Smith, I am a therapeutic counsellor and a registered member of the BACP (British association for counselling practice).

My counselling practice is based around you and what you need and want from the process. I provide a safe, non judgemental and confidential space.

It is key for the way I work to build trust so that you feel secure and at ease to give an opportunity for you to explore yourself and to grow your own self awareness. I will be there to help you along the journey. I can help by using my skills to enable you to experience your thoughts and feelings in a tailored service as every client is unique and they deal with issues differently.

My Clinical Areas of experience and expertise are working with Young People, Children, Couples & Adults

Currently I am counselling in schools in the BCP area & for a local charity working with children & young people of all ages

I have worked with several charities as well as working in private practice & have gained experience in supporting the LGBTQ+ community, identity issues, homelessness, addiction, sexual abuse, stress, trauma, depression, anxiety,  relationships & self esteem.
