my name is Hannah, I am a Counselling Psychologist in training for a doctorate in Counselling Psychology and Psychotherapy with the National School of Psychology and Psychotherapy (NSPC) affiliated with Middlesex University.

My aim is to explore painful feelings and experiences during therapy so you can understand the source of your suffering and focus on your potential to heal. Along the process you will feel that you can understand yourself better and build fulfilling and nurturing relationships with others.

Everyone is different, therapy will be tailored around your individual needs. I use a person centred therapy approach and integrate elements of Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and Compassion-Focused Therapy (CFT). It will be also important for us to make sure you are actively directing your therapy, so it is reaching your expectations.

My clinical areas of experience and expertise are working with Adults and Young People

My therapeutic practice as a Counselling Psychologist in training has been in the third sector.  I have been providing therapy to clients struggling with: mood problems, anxiety, complex grief, trauma (including domestic and childhood abuse), low self-esteem and PTSD symptoms. Before that I worked as a Recovery Practitioner supporting adults with addiction in drugs and alcohol, with complex mental health difficulties. I have 12 years of experience in Mental Health in a variety of settings within charities, NHS and in the voluntary sector.
