Covid Agreement (In person Session).     


Government Guidelines:

During the Covid pandemic we will be following the Government advice on how to stay safe.  Should this advice change (whether nationally or locally), this may result in short term changes to our practise.  At all times, Government advice will supersede anything in this contract.


Things we are doing to keep you safe:

We have introduced several measures in order to provide a safe environment for you.

Counselling chairs have been set 2 metres apart to allow for social distancing.

After each session all contact surfaces will be disinfected.

We will no longer provide any drinks or tissues.



In order to keep a safe environment, this is what we require from you:

Sanitise your hands upon entry.

Keep your belongings with you.

You are welcome to bring your own drinks and tissues, but please take any rubbish away with you.

Do not touch handles, the therapist will open the door for you.



The toilets are shared for the whole building and we cannot guarantee the sanitisation procedures for the shared areas.



If either you or your counsellor (or anyone in any households) develops symptoms, you SHOULD NOT ATTEND the session in person.  Where possible the session will be changed to a remote method, (not available to under 16’s).  We will give you as much notice as possible in this case and we would ask that you do the same.

Track and Trace.

Should one of us test positive for coronavirus, we may have to disclose people we’ve had close contact with to the NHS.  If we are required to do so, we will provide your name and contact number, no information around the nature of our contract will be provided.

Should you test positive, we are happy for you to provide our name and phone number to the NHS tracers.
