About

I am a trainee counsellor working in a person-centred and humanistic way, offering a warm, empathic, and non judgmental space where young people can explore their feelings and experiences at their own pace. My focus is on building a genuine and trusting therapeutic relationship and supporting clients to reconnect with their own strengths and sense of agency.

I care deeply about creating a safe, supportive environment and working ethically at a pace that feels right for each young person. I am committed to ongoing professional development, reflective practice, and regular supervision as I continue to grow as a Counsellor.

Clinical Background

Alongside my training, I work as a mental well-being practitioner at Bupa, and I previously worked within NHS Mental Health triage. These roles have given me extensive experience speaking with people in emotional distress, assessing mental health needs, exploring risk sensitivity, and working collaboratively to support well-being. I regularly draw on counselling skills such as deep listening, empathy, containment, and clear, grounded communication.

I am completing my post qualifying diploma in counselling Children and Young People, and I have already gained counselling experience during my level 4 qualification. I have also successfully passed the BACP proficiency exam in 2024.
