Therapy & coaching for parents
Parenting support, shaped around your family
Even when you know your child well, it can be difficult to know how best to help when something changes. You may be facing frequent conflict, worries about school, strong emotions, or a growing sense that family life is harder than it needs to be.
At ReWellness, we offer parents a confidential space to step back, make sense of what is happening, and find ways forward that feel right for their family.

Start with what you are noticing
Every family has its own challenges
You do not need a diagnosis or a fully formed explanation before reaching out. We can begin with what you have noticed and what you would like to change.
Conversations keep turning into conflict
Small requests become arguments, and it feels difficult to reconnect afterwards.
You are concerned about your child
Anxiety, low mood, intense emotions or changes in behaviour are leaving you unsure how to help.
School is affecting life at home
Attendance, friendships, transitions or academic pressure are taking a toll on your child and family.
You would like support as a parent
You are carrying a great deal and want space to think clearly about your own responses and decisions.
SUPPORT THAT STARTS WITH UNDERSTANDING
When conflict at home has become frightening
Some parents experience threats, intimidation or physical aggression from their child or teenager. It can be especially hard to talk about when you love your child and worry about being judged.
You can speak openly with us. Our family therapist is trained in Non-Violent Resistance (NVR), an approach that helps parents respond to harmful behaviour, build support around the family and work towards greater safety and connection.

SUPPORT THAT STARTS WITH UNDERSTANDING
You know your family. We can help you see a way forward.
Parenting support begins by listening to your experience. Together, we look at what may be behind a difficulty, how everyone in the family is affected, and what might help in everyday life.
Our approach brings together therapeutic understanding and practical guidance. There is room to talk honestly, consider different perspectives and develop changes that fit your child, your values and your family.
How parent support can help
What we can work on together
Sessions are tailored to the questions and situations that matter most to you. This might include:

Understanding your child’s behaviour

Strengthening communication
Looking beyond the immediate difficulty to consider their needs, feelings and experiences.
Making more space for conversations, repair and connection.

Responding during difficult moments

Navigating school and life changes
Finding ways to stay connected while managing conflict and strong emotions.
Thinking through transitions, friendships, separation, neurodiversity or other pressures affecting family life.

Setting clear, compassionate boundaries

Feeling more confident in your decisions
Developing expectations that feel consistent and appropriate for your family.
Having a place to reflect, ask questions and find an approach you can stand behind.
A PERSONALISED APPROACH
Support that fits your family
Some parents want space to explore their own feelings and experiences. Others have a particular situation they want help with now. Often, both are useful.
We will agree a focus together and adapt the sessions as your needs change. You do not have to arrive with all the answers.

FAQs
A little clarity before you begin.
What is parent support?
Parent support provides a safe space for parents and carers to talk about the challenges they're facing, gain practical strategies, and feel more confident in supporting their child. Sessions focus on helping you understand what's happening, explore solutions and build on your strengths as a parent.
Do I need my child to attend sessions?
No. Parent support sessions are designed specifically for parents and carers. You can access support even if your child is unwilling to engage in therapy or isn't ready for counselling.
Can you help if my child is aggressive towards me?
Yes, you can talk to us about threats, intimidation or physical aggression at home. Our family therapist is trained in Non-Violent Resistance (NVR) and can explore suitable support with you.
Will you tell me what to do as a parent?
No. Our approach is supportive rather than prescriptive. We work alongside you to understand your family's unique situation, helping you develop practical strategies and solutions that feel realistic and sustainable.
Is parent support confidential?
Yes. Parent support sessions are confidential, with the same professional standards and privacy protections as counselling. Any limits to confidentiality will be discussed during your first session.
A welcoming space for every family
Families come in many forms. We welcome parents and carers of all backgrounds and take time to understand the relationships, culture and experiences that shape your family.
