About

Hi I’m Paula Phillips, I believe that counselling should provide both a safe space for reflection and practical tools for change. My approach combines warmth, empathy, and creativity, allowing clients to explore their thoughts and feelings while also finding constructive ways forward.

As a Certified IARTT Rewind Trauma Specialist, I am able to safely support clients in processing trauma, helping to reduce the emotional distress linked to difficult or painful memories without requiring full disclosure. Alongside trauma work, I integrate creative and practical approaches — such as art, journaling, and role play — as well as therapeutic models including CBT, Solution Focused Therapy and EFT (Emotional Freedom Technique) to help reduce stress and anxiety.

I specialise in working with teens and adults, supporting them through challenges such as anxiety, trauma, self-confidence, grief, neurodiversity (including ADHD), identity, and relationship issues. I also provide sessions for couples, families, and parents, focusing on relationship therapy, family dynamics, and parent coaching, helping to strengthen bonds, improve communication, and create healthier patterns at home.

I have also completed specialist training with The Foundation for Infant Loss (FIL) in both Rainbow Baby Counselling and Infertility Counselling, which enables me to support individuals and families experiencing fertility struggles, pregnancy loss, or the unique challenges of parenting after loss.

At ReWellness, my passion is to empower people of all ages to build resilience, strengthen relationships, and move towards a more fulfilling and balanced life.

Clinical Background

I have worked in a range of settings, including schools, NHS services, and charities, where I supported young people, adults, and families with diverse needs. These experiences have deepened my understanding of the different challenges people face across the life span and reinforced my commitment to providing tailored, compassionate support.

Alongside this, I work with couples and families, supporting them to improve communication, rebuild trust, and strengthen family dynamics. I also offer parent coaching, helping parents feel more confident, supported, and equipped with practical strategies for everyday challenges.
