About

Hello, I’m Suzanne Foord and I’m a client-centred, integrative trainee therapist, which means I tailor therapy to meet your individual needs. Rather than following a single method, I draw on a range of therapeutic approaches to support you in the way that works best for you. I believe that the heart of effective therapy lies in the relationship we build together. I offer a safe, welcoming space where you can talk openly, explore your thoughts and feelings, and move forward at your own pace.

Compassion and understanding are at the core of my work, and I’ll walk alongside you throughout your journey.

Nature is one of my greatest inspirations, its ability to calm, restore, and remind us of life’s natural rhythms is something I deeply value. I feel privileged to have experienced first-hand the healing and empowerment that therapy can bring, and I’m passionate about supporting others to find the same.

Clinical Background

I’ve completed the taught and experiential part of my training course and have gained knowledge in working with a variety of issues such as stress, depression, anxiety, and relational dynamics.   Life’s difficulties can impact anyone at any time, and it takes courage to reach out for support; together, we can find ways to work through things and move forward.

I’ve gained experience in working with bereavement and grief through the Cruse Bereavement charity.  I recognise how individual grief is, and the difficult feelings and emotions that may arise.  A bereavement can impact upon our whole life and our identity.
