Counselling Psychologist

Job Description

ReWellness Counselling is seeking an experienced Counselling Psychologist to join our small, supportive team at the Broadstone Centre. This is an in-person role providing high-quality therapeutic support to children & young people, alongside the ability to work with adults across a variety of presenting issues.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct initial assessments and manage ongoing therapy sessions for individual adults and parents of children and young people.
  • Deliver creative, evidence-based therapeutic interventions in a safe, professional environment
  • Maintain accurate client records and adhere to safeguarding policies
  • Participate in supervision
  • Contribute to a positive, collaborative team culture, sharing knowledge and ideas

Working Hours & Contract:

  • Guaranteed hours to be negotiated between 1pm-8pm Monday-Friday

Your regular shifts will form your contracted hours, giving you a consistent weekly schedule. Optional overtime and additional shifts are also available if you’d like to work more.

Pay & Benefits:

  • £39,000 – £58500 pro rata , dependent on experience and responsibility
  • 5.6 weeks paid holiday per annum
  • Service closed for approximately two weeks over Christmas (holiday entitlement applied)
  • Supervision, team meetings, inductions, and full administrative support
  • Access to online CPD hub with mandatory and optional training

Essential Criteria:

  • Recognised qualification working with children
  • Passionate about working with children and young people
  • Professional body membership (BPS, UKCP, HCPC, or equivalent)
  • Ability to be engaging and work creatively with young people.
  • Enhanced DBS
  • Strong organisational skills to manage caseloads effectively whilst maintaining thorough documentation.
  • Uphold ethical standards and maintain professional boundaries at all times.

Experience

  • Proven experience delivering therapeutic interventions within a clinical or community setting is desirable.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to build rapport and trust with diverse client groups
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a multidisciplinary team committed to client welfare. This role provides an enriching environment for professional growth whilst making a positive impact on individuals’ mental health journeys.

Art Psychotherapist

Job Description

ReWellness Counselling is seeking an experienced Art Psychotherapist to join our small, supportive team at the Broadstone Centre.   • Deliver creative, evidence-based therapeutic interventions in a safe, professional environment

  • Participate in supervision
  • Contribute to a positive, collaborative team culture, sharing knowledge and ideas

Working Hours & Contract:

  • 10 hours a week from 3pm–8pm Monday-Friday. You choose which days work best for you.

Systemic Family Psychotherapist

Job Description 

ReWellness Counselling is seeking an experienced, qualified Systemic Family Psychotherapist (AFT/UKCP/HCPC registered or eligible), experienced in working with children, young people, adults, couples, parents and families, to join our small, supportive team at the Broadstone Centre. This is an in-person role providing high-quality therapeutic support.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct initial assessments and manage ongoing therapy sessions to all client groups.
  • Deliver creative, evidence-based therapeutic interventions in a safe, professional environment
  • Maintain accurate client records and adhere to safeguarding policies
  • Participate in paid supervision
  • Contribute to a positive, collaborative team culture, sharing knowledge and ideas

Working Hours & Contract

  • Minimum commitment: 10 hours per week
  • Flexible hours between 1 pm–8 pm, with availability between 3 pm–8 pm essential Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday & Fridays available, days and hours to be negotiated

Pay & Benefits:

  • £54,600-£58,500 per session, dependent on experience and responsibility

  • Master’s level qualification (or equivalent) in Family & Systemic Psychotherapy from an AFT-accredited training programme.
  • Current UKCP registration as a Family & Systemic Psychotherapist (or registration pending with evidence of eligibility).
  • Registration with the Association for Family Therapy (AFT).
  • Experience providing systemic psychotherapy to children, young people, adults, couples, parents and families.
  • Able to assess, formulate and deliver evidence-based systemic interventions for a broad range of emotional, behavioural and mental health presentations.
  • Excellent knowledge of safeguarding, risk assessment and clinical governance.
  • Experience working independently within a multidisciplinary team.
  • Excellent communication and clinical record-keeping skills.
  • Enhanced DBS

  • Our standard shifts are in 5 hour blocks, from 3pm–8pm Monday-Friday. You choose how many regular shifts you’d like to work each week between, minimum commitment 3 shifts a week.
